About ŠEK

The club with the most energy

The Student Energy Club (ŠEK) is the first club aimed at connecting students who work and think in the field of sustainable energy and green transition in Slovenia and beyond. It strives to raise awareness and facilitate the exchange of opinions among students on energy-related issues. To this end, ŠEK has established a strong presence on various social networks, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. This enables the club to share press releases, articles, and other information about its activities and findings with a wider audience.

In addition to its media activities, ŠEK also strives to connect with other non-governmental organizations operating in the field of energy. By collaborating with these groups, ŠEK can share resources and combine forces on initiatives that promote responsible energy use. Overall, ŠEK is dedicated to promoting knowledge and action in the field of energy among students and the wider community.

ŠEK invites you to its ranks

The Student Energy Club invites students who are ready to actively participate in the club's design and operation to join its ranks. ŠEK is an interdisciplinary club that focuses on current issues related to energy. Given its interdisciplinary approach, we have initiated discussions with the Center for Extracurricular Activities of the University of Ljubljana (COD UL) to include ŠEK activities among the extracurricular activities of COD UL.

While this process is underway, we intend to reward active SEK members with an opportunity to participate in the Erasmus student exchange program between partners of the AURORA project (Portugal, Spain, Denmark, UK).
